Dave McComas’s legacy at AC4S includes:
- Leading Department of Defense Task Orders supporting the installation of Radio-over-Internet Protocol networks and associated equipment at Fort Bragg, NC;
- Communications systems and infrastructure installation for the Defense Information Systems Agency at Fort Mead, Maryland;
- Program and Project Management support to the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command;
- Supervising the installation of Audio Visual and Video Teleconferencing systems throughout the U.S. Central Command Headquarters in Tampa, FL; and,
- Providing Life Support Services to the Department of State in Tripoli, Benghazi and Sana’a Yemen, heading a $250M Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with task orders supporting facility operations and maintenance activities, renovation projects and design / build construction projects.
Prior to joining AC4S, Dave served 26 years in U.S. Army, retiring in 2007 as the Command Sergeant Major of the Joint Communications Support Element. His distinguished military career included tours in Honduras, Panama, Korea, Bahrain, Germany, Kosovo, Turkey, Afghanistan and Iraq. David graduated with honors from the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland, University College.
